Great quality but broken within a year – The sound quality is great, the headset is comfortable, the battery life is good. But best to buy the warranty as this is our second one and both headsets snapped during regular wear before even a year old. We are going to try a different brand.

Not worth the money. – I bought these as a upgrade and replacement since my old pulse headset was beginning to go. Lets start with the good they are light, the sound is good, and the mic is decent. This issue is the build quality. From the start it would randomly turn off and id have to turn it back on. Eventually it would connect for about 5min then drop having to restart my ps5 to get the signal back. Eventually it unpaired and was never able to connect again. I looked up what to do in fourms and nothing worked. It lasted less than one year. It was good while it lasted, random drops aside, but for the issues I had and how long it lasted id recommend something else. I expected a better quality for a product that has the label elite. Especially when the cheaper pulse 3d i bought a year prior still work minus the foam falling apart.

Sound Quality good becareful with the Headband! – This thing has seriously impressed me! I’ve owned more expensive Turtle Beach headsets in the past, and these outperform them without breaking the bank. The sound quality is excellent, and the overall gaming experience is a major upgrade.
My only complaint is the durability of the headband. I have a larger head, and if I’m not careful when putting them on or taking them off, the headband can crack from being stretched too wide. That’s definitely something Sony could improve.
Fortunately, I purchased the Best Buy protection plan, which gives me some peace of mind about that issue.
Other than that, these headsets are fantastic! Great sound, excellent value, and better performance than some of the more expensive gaming headsets I’ve owned. Despite the headband concern, I’d absolutely recommend them!

Great sound, disappointing durability – After about 20 months, the headband housing snapped during normal use. I didn’t drop or mishandle the headset, and I had to tape it to keep using it.
The sound quality is decent, but the build quality is disappointing for a $150 headset. I’ve also seen other owners report similar cracks, which raises concerns about the design’s durability.
For the price, I expected better.
