My favorite Guitar Controller. – I have been playing rhythm based games since Guitar Hero 2 on PS2. I highly highly recommend this controller to anyone looking for a Rock Band-feel controller that has super good latency and really smooth playing. I use it daily for Rock Band 4 on my Series X and it beats the standard Strat controller any day. Battery life is also incredible. I only have to charge it once every month and a half and that’s me playing hour long sessions on weekends.

Takes getting used to, but a VAST improvement. – As someone coming from Wii Guitar Hero controllers (notably, the ones that came out with World Tour), this controller out of the box felt… small.
Eventually, that turned into a blessing. After an adjustment period, the build feels extremely natural so long as you do not have very large hands, everything is stable and smooth.
…Asking price is a bit high, however if this product is FOR you, it is more than worth the time you will be getting out of it.
Minor complaint, however:
This controller is made of a material that makes even fingerprints very obvious. Clean it frequently.

Finally, I can play Rock Band 3 Deluxe! – Buttons feel great, includes Solo Buttons, and it has worked with minimal fuss. It comes with a USB Dongle, no bluetooth, but otherwise it works just fine. Was surprised to find an analog stick on the back of the head of the guitar.

Riffmaster – It worked good for a while but then the dongle broke and i was stuck without one for a lomg time since xbox dongles are hard to find. I would much rather reccomend a CRKD guitar.

It’s okay – I’d recommended the newer crkd controllers. I’ve had connection issues and it’s extremely easy to scratch even when using a microfiber cloth. You have to download 2 drivers for it to work with clone hero. When it works, the strumming feels off for gallops and fast strumming.

Could’ve been great but isn’t because of 1 thing – This guitar controller is built really nice, the buttons are fantastic, it even has buttons lower down the fret for left handed players. I’ve had this for a little over a month and it’s basically unusable at this point. The one flaw on this product is the strum bar. It starts out good but slowly gets worse and worse. Instead of using a mechanical switch, it has two sensors that activate when pushed down or up. They use a tiny piece of foam on each side of the strum to stop it, that’s it. I can’t believe how cheap they went on this one part. It causes you to miss notes and drives you crazy after awhile. I’ve ordered a fix from a company that uses the right stuff to fix it. If this is a known issue so much so that a company exists to correct it, surely PDP could from factory. If you’re going to fix the strum with aftermarket parts it’s worth it, if not don’t buy it.
