A must have – This charging grip, I think should come standard with the gaming console. It works great if your batteries die while you’re still playing. Probably not a good idea to use for extended periods of time but enough to finish your game up.

Works as expected – Lets you turn your tow Joy-Cons into (sort of) a Pro Controller. Also, gives you the ability to charge the Joy-Cons with the included cable. The only negative I would add is it would be nice if the original grip had this feature.
