Top Notch Game – Best open world game since GTA 5. Smooth and beautiful graphics and cutscenes. Easy to control. Super immersive game that lets you manage a camp, train pets to follow you, cook meals and potions, and solve many puzzles all the while working through a quailty main quest storyline at your leisure. By far the most under advertised best game of 2026. Bethesda has finally met their match in open RPG arena. This game is a must for all open world RPG gamers.
Only dislike I have is that the game doesn’t really explain how to do a lot of things so I’ve had to look up a large number of tutorials on Youtube. PLAION/ Pearl Abyss should really make their own Youtube channel and could capitolize on all the views and traffic it would get.
Aside from that at point of this review I’ve already invested 90 hours in gameplay. And forsee this will keep me well entertained until GTA VI comes out.

Flawed game that I can’t put down – Crimson Desert is a strange game. Clunky controls, nonexistent story, flat characters. And yet I cannot put it down. The gameplay is so much fun, combat is great, the world is incredible to explore and there is just so much you can do. It would probably be easier to name things you can’t do in this game. If you’re looking for a fun action adventure game in an open world sandbox I could highly recommend Crimson Desert. If you’re looking for a gripping story and deep characters this is not the game for you. But if you’re looking for a fun game you can sink hours and hours into, this game is perfect for you. 8.5/10

Skyrim-like wonder – I just love getting lost in this game. I barely advance the story because the environment and graphics are just too good. I cross-play this on PS5 with my Steam save profile since the new update and it’s awesome to be able to play on the PS Portal when I’m not at my desk to play on Steam. Just awesome game. So many details.

Buy this game – This game is incredible. Just watch YouTube tutorials to tweak the graphics settings on a base ps5 to smooth it out. Reminds me a bit of Witcher 3 and it’s not annoyingly hard to play like Elden ring or other souls games
