Hi-Fi Sound For An Excellent Price! – I’ve owned a few Hifiman headphones in the past. Including some of their more expensive planar magnetic such as the HE1000 and Arya. Although those are more tuned for music, the ROG Kithara is excellent for gaming and beats any other “gaming headset”. The Open-back design and large planar drivers deliver a large soundstage with great imaging, and the tonal balance sounds great for games.

Hifiman ROG – If you like clarity and footsteps, this is it. I thought I was hearing things before, wow def game changer bro

Amazing sounds – The sound on these are amazing especially when paired with a DAC that can power these massive drivers. Playing some FPS like BF6 made it feel a bit easier to pin point where the noirse came from. Mic quality is great too.

Awesome headphones! – I love my headphones. Keep in mind an amplifier will be needed or connecting it directly to one of the USB-C ports on your console/pc since the 3.5mm jack on controller isn’t enough juice. It has nice clear sound and very comfortable. Give it a try! Packaging is also excellent!

Better than i expected – Compared to rog theta or strix this seems to be better than both of the true 7.1 which honestly surprised me. It is super clear audio.

Awesome headset – It’s an awesome sounding headset. There are times where I heard you might need an amp but stand alone sounds pretty good

nice headphones, issue with no sound program – Only issue is there is no program to adjust settings with Asus, you need to find USB-C firmware drivers to access windows sound program to adjust bass and equalizer.

Can’t have best of both world – Listening to music is really amazing for this price point I don’t think you could find a better deal. If you are able to find a cheaper headset it would probably need a pre amp. But that pretty much ends the nice things about this headset. The sound stage is wonderful as most open back headphones are but when actually playing a game where you need to hear footsteps or sound cues it falls short. Due to it being open back the ability to isolate sounds leaves something to be desired. Closed back headphones just inherently have a better ability to pick out sounds. It’s a good headphone that sounds amazing. But if you want a headphone that you can play games with and listen to music you are better off just buying two different headphones for cheaper price.

Comfortable headset – It’s a really good headset, comfortable you can use for hours. The sound is great and the microphone is acceptable. It’s better if use you get a DAC because it gets even better.

very goood – the headphones are a bit expensive but they are worth every penny and the sound quality is great

Excellent headphones – A+, quality and sounds is excellent. Very comfortable. A little heavy at first, but you get used to it.

Great headphones at a great price – These are great open can headphones with really competitive sound quality at a much better price point than their competitors. When my AUDEZE headphones broke I was worried that I was going to have to shell out a lot of money to have a similar sound quality experience, but luckily I found these instead.

Excellent Sound Quality and Comfort – These are quite excellent for gaming and movies… Just ok for music in my opinion. If you’re used to a lot of bass these might disappoint…
The wealth of connection options is so nice; 4.4 balanced, 3.5mm, and 1/4″ plug changeouts…
The weight feels more evenly distributed than the audeze maxwells I also have…
There are build quality issues that customers report… so we shall see how well they hold up.

Great product. Need a DAC for full use. – The bass is not as pronounced as in typical consumer gaming headsets, which may feel less “bombastic” during explosions or electronic music but can be enhanced with a DAC that has EQ modifiers.
The headset weighs 420 grams, and its large, open-back earcups fit most head sizes, though small-headed users may experience loose fitting.
Headband slipping and fit issues: Some units require manual screw adjustment to prevent movement during use.
Large headset footprint: The over-ear cups may not fit smaller stands or some head sizes comfortably
Wired-only setup: No Bluetooth or wireless option makes portability and console usage less convenient.
Treble harshness: Bright treble can be fatiguing over long listening sessions, particularly for sensitive users but can be adjusted with a DAC with EQ settings.
Limited bass compared to closed-back gaming headsets: While detailed, explosions and low-end effects may feel less immersive.
Cable management complexity: Multiple interchangeable cables and adapters can be confusing, and short cable lengths may be restrictive for certain setups
Need a separate DAC to get the most our of this headset. But when you do it is night day difference.

Great sound – Headphones sound great and are comfortable. The product needs better quality control though. One of the sliders move around a lot so have to adjust constantly.

Clear Audio – Best audio iv ever heard coming from a gaming headset.

QC hurts an otherwise great product – I returned this headset because there was a problem with the adjustment band not staying in position. I could have tightened it with a torx screwdriver but something that costs this much should be perfect. Outside of the QC flaw, it sounds absolutely fantastic, but really needs a DAC to wake it up and make it louder. I was disappointed.

Good but…. – Great audio quality only issue I had was headband kept getting loose I would have to retighten every couple of days

Stellar Product – I had my doubts with a audiophile headset created by Asus, but the partnership with HIFIMAN does not disappoint. I switched from a Sennheiser 560S and I can say the quality of these for my ears does sound better in both gaming and music.

Great Planar Magnetic headset – This isn’t your typical “gaming” headset. These planar magnetic are great. The open design gives a great sense of space. The mic isn’t that great but passable.
