  1. supermaia (verified owner) –

GREAT GAME!! – Excellent retelling (if it is) of an older game. Great graphics and gameplay. Perfect for the PS5 console.

  2. epinefren (verified owner) –

Amazing – Always incredibly refreshing when you buy a game day one and it runs perfectly. The gameplay and swordplay in this game is top notch. Been having a blast with this one. I would highly recomend, you will not be disapointed.

  3. Rafa (verified owner) –

Incredible – Combat and story are top tier. Replayability is great too.

  4. Ruffy (verified owner) –

The return of a classic – It’s been a long time coming, but Onimusha is back! Stellar graphics and engaging combat are the main draws. Good voice acting but with extremely weird lip synch– it’s perfect during cutscenes and horrible in the real-time sequences. Super fun to kick demon butt, but some repetitive bosses show up too many times. The side quests vary from kinda weird and interesting to completely boring “check the box” activities. Overall I enjoyed my time with this game but I think it could be even better!

  5. Danja (verified owner) –

Another Banger! – Capcom is on fire! This is a great semi-open, more linear action game with very satisfying combat. It’s cool to watch too.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword- PS5 Review – This game is very fun to play. The different areas to explore are beautiful. The gameplay is incredible. It has some of the best action gameplay for the genre. Only complaint with the game is that it has brutal difficulty spikes with boss fights. I almost gave up on the final boss fight. However, I decided to give it one more attempt and I was able to finish the game. That victory was incredibly satisfying.

Awesome – Great graphics, great combat, great game. Would recommend the game to anyone, fantastic…

  8. Blade732 (verified owner) –

One of the best action adventure games in years. – Gameplay is extremely satisfying and appropriately challenging throughout. Story, characters, world design are all top notch but it’s the gameplay that’ll keep you hooked. Love this combat system so much. Highly recommend this game!

  9. CMyArt83 (verified owner) –

Way of the Modern Classic! – I’ve been playing the Onimusha games since the PS2 and this did not disappoint after a 20 year hiatus! I will say the combat isn’t as fast as the original four games on PS2, however the combat on here is very rewarding once you get it down. Capcom didn’t go the souls route with the franchise either and is still quite fun for those looking for a good adventure.

  10. LUAIA (verified owner) –

One of the best 2026 games – This game evolves so much from the previous Onimusha games and make every part of it better. One of my best 2026 games

  11. AYRONO (verified owner) –

Game is great, capcom does it again – From the combat to the characters, Onimusha is a fantastic experience from beginning to end..

  12. JOSEPHT (verified owner) –

Onimusha way of the sword – Very good game! 10/10 must play! Very beginner friendly and wasy to learn great story!

  13. Brando (verified owner) –

Best Samurai Ever – First I’m strolling around fighting guys and then DEMONS show up?! And it’s crazier from there because there’s a lot of demons. They really don’t stop coming.

Good thing you can chop and stab them!

Amazing game. Very samurai for you.

  14. STEVEN (verified owner) –

Thank god they revived this series – enemy variety and barebones side quests (even the good ones have their cool parts hidden in text logs) are its only downfalls but everything else is so fun that I can look past that and hopefully they iron out those things in a sequel because this is a bonafide banger
My issues mentioned above aren’t as grating because the game is only 20ish hours and doesn’t overstay its welcome.

  15. SFoster (verified owner) –

Awesome game – Great samurai action with engaging story, 10/10!!!

  16. OWENP (verified owner) –

The Roller Coaster that is Onimusha – It’s a very slow start, lots of cutscenes and the combat is fairly easy for the first 4/5 hours. However the boss fights are intense and require thoughtful engagement with the mechanics. The story is kinda whatever, and the dialogue can be a little generic action hero type of vibe (which some people are down for) overall very much worth the purchase.

  17. Chozn2 (verified owner) –

Classic – Played Onimusha as a kid and now that it’s back, I had to buy it. Fun game. Fun fighting mechanics

  18. EDOUARDF (verified owner) –

Awesome game – Came on the date it said. The game is great. Fun, hard to put

  19. ROMEOL (verified owner) –

Awesome!!! – It’s so good and it confirms once again Capcom cooked this year!

  20. KENC (verified owner) –

Awesome – Great game, delivery was perfect I would recommend it to everyone
