Tim Geek SQuad does it again for me !! – Wife’s MS Surface quit charging through side port. I cleaned both connections. No change. Surface has common problems with charging port. Appointment with Tim in GS @ Wilmington nc store did me another great job . ” Lets check C port for charging and see if it gets to 10%. It did charge down with Tim pointing me in correct direction for 65W C port charger. WAY TO GO Tim again.

Works fine for now – This is currently working fine but these charger overall aren’t great this is our third one the first one was the one that came with the laptop, second one was a knockoff brand which after awhile started to smoke and spark, so went back to Microsoft one hopefully this will last a bit. Unfortunately the product is not good. I would not recommend product but this is what you need for this laptop. We received product no problem and it was correct Microsoft one.
