Avoid unless you enjoy dealing with tech support – Many problems getting device to work. Several tickets with tech support and the program still crashes when attempting to save videos to MPEG format. Would look for something from another manufacturer,

Not offered on Windows 11 – Doesn’t work with Windows 11. Their support solution was to figure out what software was conflicting and contact them to make changes.

Worth it! – Easy to use and works well! I transferred 14 vhs tape to my computer.
Displeased (verified owner) –
Product does not work. – Software would not operate properly despite support from Roxio. So I am stuck with this device because BestBuy refused to refund. Do not buy from BestBuy!

Didn’t use. – I don’t have VHS player so it didn’t work and I returned it.

Worked well! – I like the product. I worked to move some very old VCR tapes to digital. It isn’t super fast however I only have older USP ports so the limitation could have been my older pc.

Memories saved – Works beautifully
Able to transfer all my old home videos.

Roxy converter – The Roxy tool we bought for VHS to DVD converter didn’t work for me.

Best Buy Sold us a Lemon! – Was disappointed that this Best Buy tech recommended software doesn’t work with our Windows 11 PC. We corresponded with Corel engineers, and they acknowledged the problem but had no timeline for updating or fixing the issue. We will return this purchase. Best Buy should consult with vendor engineers to know the ins and outs of each product they sell so the in-store techs have first-hand information. So sad.

Ro NOT buy if you have Windows 11 – Do NOT buy if you have Windows 11!!! This crashed two brand new dell laptops and had to reinstall Windows on both.

Works but program is very old & needs updating – The program and cable work but the program is very old and Roxio needs to update it. You have to disable some of windows 11 memory protection to get it to work.

DIY conversion – this soft ware and hardware package makes conversion effortless even for me. Easy to follow instuctions and easy process

It works requires a little bit of tinkering. – This is an old product, however it still works with Windows 11. You’ll have to massage some driver settings, but you can get it to work. It’s essential if you got old VHS recordings and you want to digitize them.

Product review – Great product for windows, easy to transfer videos into digital on my desktop
Disappointed (verified owner) –
Did t work – I never could get it to work with my dvd player. Hard to set up. And had to buy a converter
DannyBoy (verified owner) –
Works but a big learning curve – I’ve been able to digitize a couple of my old camcorder tapes. But it’s been a fairly big learning curve and time consuming. If you have time on your hands, this is probably a good choice. I think I’ll try sending in some of my other tapes to a service and see how that works out.

Pretty impressed – I am quite impressed at how well this worked considering the low cost. I transferred several old VHS tapes to digital.
REFUGIOA (verified owner) –
Is a very good product – I use it at home to transfer my vhs videos to dvd or even to upload them to internet it works very good.

Causes problems with Windows 11 computers – This product is not compatible with Windows 11 and crashed two of my computers, causing numerous errors. I had to spend hours fixing all the problems caused by instaling this produc.
