Perfect for connecting Mini HDMI To USB – It’s a small device that does exactly what you want it to do. Something to keep in mind: it tends to run hot, so it’s wise to disconnect it when it’s not in use. But other than that, it’s a great device to connect your camera to your computer for streaming or recording!

Great for creator setup, not completely plug&-play – I use the Cam Link 4K with my Sony camera for livestreaming and content creation. Once everything is set up correctly, the video quality is excellent and it gives my stream a much more professional look than using a regular webcam. It works well with my streaming setup and has been reliable for longer LIVE sessions.
My biggest issue is that the setup wasn’t as plug-and-play as I expected. Between camera settings, HDMI, USB connections and streaming software, there was definitely some troubleshooting involved before everything worked the way I wanted. For the price, I would have appreciated a smoother setup experience.
Overall, I’m happy with it and I use it regularly. If you’re serious about using a mirrorless camera for streaming, it’s a very useful little device. I’d just recommend being prepared to spend some time dialing in your setup.
