Ace Combat 7 makes you feel like the most important pilot on the planet—and everyone knows it. The jet combat is fast, smooth, and ridiculously satisfying. Locking missiles, pulling impossible maneuvers, and watching enemies explode mid-air never gets old. This is arcade flying at its best: easy to pick up, hard to master, and constantly screaming “do something awesome.”
The campaign leans fully into Ace Combat’s signature style: serious military stakes mixed with dramatic dialogue that feels like it belongs in an anime… and somehow that makes it better. The story has heart, tension, and just enough chaos to keep you glued to the cockpit.
What Caught Me Off Guard
The weather. Thunderstorms, turbulence, clouds messing with radar—Mother Nature is apparently the secret final boss. Also, the soundtrack goes way harder than it has any right to. You’ll be pulling a high-G turn while the music swells like you’re saving the world, because… you probably are.

Ace Combat 7 is pure aerial power fantasy. If you’ve ever watched Top Gun and thought, “Yeah, I could do that,” this game will happily enable you.
