Good build quality good sound sofware needs love – Amazing build and sound quality very happy but there is an annoying issue with the hub if a powerdown happens the usb it was plugged into dies for that decice unless the entire hub and headset gets reset. To have to reset and re pair for every use is kind of unscceptable for a device at this price point

Very good gaming headphones! – I replaced my old Arctis 7 with these Pro Omni and I can say these headphones better in every way! Battery life is amazing, considering you have two batteries so you will never be out of juice!
Sound is amazing and having control via DAC unit is very convinient. Although you steel need Sonar if you want to use Chat/Game functionaliy, not a big problem. GG is getting better with each release.
Price? I think it is a little too much, but these days everything is expensive. My old Arctis lated very long time and I hope new headset will do the same!

SteelSeries – Pro Omni – It is honestly a lot nice than what i was expecting. The headset it self is every comfortable, with the Ear pads and heads band providing optimal support. The hot swap batter replacements for 0 down time is a huge perk for this headset while playing games.
only issue with it so far is having to hold down the power button for turning it off and on. The time for me feels inconsistent sometime but that could also just be a me problem.

Great product – This product is very good. Nice quality the app equalizer is very useful and has alot of important features for streaming, chaging game audio settings, music settings etc. Its very comfortable and the dual swap battery is something i cant live without. Its a must for a headset. Only reason i give a 4 star is sometimes it would disconnect randomly and i would get some audio feedback when the earcups were a little too close together so i upragraded to the nova elites.

Great headphones NOT worth $400.00 – If you have the money to burn and primarily game on PC, it’s a neat piece of tech (with the steel-series app) and the sound is great. However, given the mediocre ANC/Transparency modes, sweaty ear pads, and hefty price tag, it’s hard to recommend at full retail price unless you catch it on sale or have a gift card to offset the cost.

Good sound quality, OK microphone, expensive – I had been using an external DAC with DT770s and a mic on a boom arm and bought this to simplify the setup and allow me to use the same headset across PC and consoles (ps5, xbox series x). Sound quality is surprisingly good for a headset. Microphone is adequate but doesn’t sound as good as some others I’ve heard from other mfgs, but it works. The breakout box is small and easy to set up to use with console systems and PC. The GG software + sonar on PC is surprisingly good, and the EQ profiles are also helpful and don’t make games sound awful. The mic EQ is similarly helpful and allows you to dial back some of the “honking” midrange that it naturally has. The extra battery is nice, the charging port on the desktop box is great, the headset range is decent, battery life is good-to-great (I don’t have time for marathon gaming sessions these days). I’d recommend this product if it meets your requirements, but I also think it’s worth considering lower priced alternatives given the price.
