The tutorials that Bambu Lab has are awesome. They’ll show you how to maintain your printer and how to get it setup.
The only thing about this printer is that if you plan to do multi-color prints, it will have a lot of wasted filament.

Amazing starter machine, but multicolor waste! – As someone completely brand-new to 3D printing, I couldn’t have asked for a better machine to get started. I bought my P2S three weeks ago, and it has been the easiest, most seamless transition into what is quickly becoming an addiction to the hobby. Setup was a breeze, and I was able to jump right into printing immediately using the huge, diverse MakerWorld library straight from the mobile app. I’m still learning the ropes in Bambu Studio, but the slicer software feels very intuitive and user-friendly.
I did a ton of research before buying—I didn’t want to go super cheap, but I also didn’t want to overspend while unsure of the learning curve. The stellar reviews won me over, and for the most part, it lives up to every bit of the hype.
The one major heads-up I didn’t see mentioned enough in reviews is the sheer amount of waste produced during multicolor prints. Because it uses a single nozzle/toolhead, it has to purge filament at every color change on each layer, resulting in a substantial pile of purged “poop.”
After learning more in some 3D printing communities, I actually ended up picking up a toolchanger machine (Snapmaker U1) specifically for multicolor work because it virtually eliminates that waste. Now, my P2S has become my dedicated single-color workhorse. That said, if you have the budget for a multi-toolhead Bambu setup, I’d still lean toward Bambu. The Bambu ecosystem, app integration, in-software model search, and rock-solid reliability are unmatched—I have rarely had a single error on the P2S, whereas third-party software and multi-tool setups can run into small quirks.
Note: I haven’t had to do any long-term maintenance on it yet, but three weeks in, it’s an incredible, highly dependable printer.

Does what you’d expect – I’ve been using/owning 3D printers for over 10 years.
While Bambu has made controversial choices within the 3d print community there is one experience that is undeniable. Click print, and the print happens. I’ve had over 100 prints, and only one failure. I love to tinker, but I don’t want to have to tinker every time I need to print a part, tool, or what have you. The quality is great, and the ease saves a great deal of time.
In short, this ecosystem is the ‘Apple’ ease of use vs. a ‘Linux’ experience in other printers. Both are powerful, and both have their places.
