a1 mini for a beginner? yessir!!!! – this thing is very easy to use. it practically runs itself. I like how the rig remembers your last dozen prints. Its really easy to use once you get the filament in and setup bambu studio and bambu handy. If you are even considering printing in more than one color in the future, get the A1 or a1 mini with AMS Lite.

A consistent printer for various applications – This was my first 3D printer, and it was able to handle my multiple novice uses, including getting hand prints on the printbed, mishandling nozzles, etc., with simple and suprisingly consistent good products. The printer was easy to setup and maintenance was clear. I’ve had need to replace some nozzles due to my own issues, and swapping everything out was a breeze, and there are plenty of informational materials online to help.

Don’t buy it – Looks nice but terrible issues. I got this and the bigger A1, same nozzle issues. I spent 5x more time troubleshooting than actually printing. In the end I got a Flashforge AD5X and it prints 95% of the time like it’s supposed to.
