Coolest little controller – Such a cool controller. Being able to set it to different types of controller is so useful for multi purpose and emulation.

Best Controller Multi-Platform Gaming – If you are looking for the ultimate controller for PC gaming, look no further. The 8BitDo Pro 2 was already fantastic, but the addition of Hall Effect joysticks makes it flawless. Because these sticks use magnets instead of physical contacts, you don’t have to worry about stick drift ever developing over time. The precision and responsiveness are incredible right out of the box.
What makes it stand out:
Flawless Connectivity: The physical toggle switch on the back makes it incredibly easy to swap between PC (X-input), Switch, Android, and Apple devices seamlessly.
Pro-Level Features: The two remappable back buttons are perfectly placed and easy to program using the 8BitDo Ultimate Software. You can also customize trigger sensitivity, vibration levels, and button mapping on the fly.
Ergonomics & Build: It perfectly blends a classic PlayStation-style symmetric stick layout with a modern, comfortable grip. The D-pad is easily one of the best on the market—perfect for fighting games and retro titles.
Battery Life: The removable, rechargeable battery pack gives you tons of playtime, and you can easily pop in standard AA batteries if you ever run out of juice mid-session.
Whether you are playing competitive shooters, racing games, or side-scrollers on your PC or Steam Deck, this controller handles it all perfectly. Highly recommended!

Great controller – I got it mainly for my Switch 2. It feels really nice in the hands. It’s a good balance between a playstation style controller and a nintendo style controller.

New controller – 8bitdo sells themselves! Great controller and can’t stop buying them. Work great on multiple devices.

Good controller – Didn’t match my needs but it felt nice to use. Good grip, nice feedback didn’t fit right in my hands.

Open Box – failed in 2 days – I purchased this item from Best Buy as an open-box item. I’m appalled that it even made its way back onto the shelf. The A button simply stopped working on the second day of use.
The Pro 3, however, is a big improvement.

Good controller – Sometimes it doesn’t connect as easily as it should to my Steam Deck but overall I like the controller.

Less is More – I’m a fan of 8bitdo’s Controllers. I have specific uses for each controller. The Nano is a great keychain/Controller, it sparks interest when fellow gamers discover it actually works as a full on game Controller
With one Caveat-2d games, Top Down, Side Scrolling games (no sticks)
Women ALL say the exact same thing!
“Ahhh, it’s so Cute!”
My Joy in discovering 8bitdo comes from not having to spend RIDICULOUS prices and i get a full featured Controller that allows me total control
In fact, i had a brief learning curve the 1st time i attempted the mapping tool, not because it’s technical and I’m not a dummy anymore, but there was an unexpected ability to create 3 seperate, totally different profiles (me, wife, kid) no matter who gets on the controller, it is tailored exactly how they want.
A definite top 10 item to have on that deserted island

very good controllers – This is a very good controller, high quality. similar to one I have had for years that finally gave out

Textbook perfect experience. – The controller was brand new, in box, but because the box had been opened, it qualified as “pre-owned” & I was able to get it for $15 less than a brand new version cost. The controller continues to work exactly as it should, with no issues.

OP Med School Anki Remote – I’m an M1 using this remote for Anki. I’ve used it for about 3 weeks now and it works great, and is super comfortable to use.

Problem with start button – I purchased this controller a month and 7 days ago. I was having issues with the start button working properly. I continually have to shut it off and on in order to get it to work. I finally decided to request a return and was told by Best Buy to contact the manufacturer directly. They advised that they could not help me with a return and to contact Best Buy. I did and was advised that it was outside of the 30 day return policy. I did extensive research on Gemini AI to correct the issue with no resolution. So, I now have a game controller that does not work properly. Really?! Very disappointing.

Love it use daily – I use it daily and it is easy to switch between devices.

Great PC controller – It is exactly as described and works immediately when it’s plugged in.
I was disappointed that I had to download an app to alter its mapping, but that worked well too.
