Bought it for my wife – She loves to be able to play here in there but we have little ones so she’s able to be around the house behind them and play for a bit instead of staying in one place where the console is

Wears out quickly – Wore out before with the ribbon. Had to take it apart to replace. Then the button started wearing out. This is after a year of use. Good if using temporarily.
JASONB (verified owner) –
Backbone – It’s good I wish it was a way to login without PlayStation being on

ALWAYS LOVE MY BEST BUY PRODUCTS – Got the backbone for my son to enjoy and I could not find them at any store other then Best Buy I looked all across town and best buy was the only place in the entire city that had it available.
Thank you Best Buy !!!

Great Deviice – I love this device. I use it when I’m in the doctors office doing my treatment and when I’m in the car traveling. It’s done wonders fro my anxiety.

Kick butt way to play my PlayStation games away – This is awesome it relies on the PlayStation app to play PlayStation five games remotely, but it works great. Don’t know how well this works. If you’re playing something competitive online there may be too much lag but for a solo game like cyberpunk 2077 or Mass Effect that I’ve used it for it works fantastic way better than using the touchscreen buttons.

It does it’s job and feels nice – I have used the Backbone a decent amount since purchasing it. I have really enjoyed being able to play more games on my phone with it. I have a iPhone 17 Pro Max, and in order to use this, I have to take my case off. A bit disappointing, and maybe it says on the packaging that it is exclusively for non max phones, but because it wasn’t egregiously obvious I am reducing rating to 4 stars.
AIDENL (verified owner) –
Perfectly functional. – It is perfectly functional for what it is. Not much else to add, I use it regularly. Not the most comfortable, but not uncomfortable either.
FRANK (verified owner) –
Absolutely hate – This is probably my worst purchase at Best Buy. Cheaply built and not worth the money.

Travel for work and an absolute must – Traveling for work and bought this to help kill time in the airport and hotels. Has been amazing!! The pass thru charging keeps my device fully charged. Even though I have an older phone that does get a little warm after playing a while. I’ve played for 5 hours straight without it crashing though. The compact design makes it where it fits in my crossbody bag and always easily accessible. Runs off my battery of my phone when not plugged in and means no battery swapping and always available. Would definitely recommend. They do have a subscription that allows you to tap directly into your PlayStation; Xbox; or steam account. I’ve just been using it for my Apple Games. I think if you travel, have kids or just enjoy mobile gaming this thing is a must have.
