Very happy with this purchase – I’ve been really happy with the Hori Split Pad Compact Gengar edition. It’s much more comfortable to hold than the standard Joy-Cons, especially during longer gaming sessions, and the larger buttons and analog sticks make gameplay feel more precise. The Gengar design is also fantastic! It looks great and adds a fun touch to my Switch.
My son has been playing Pokémon Legends: Z-A nonstop lately, so getting the Gengar edition made it even more exciting for him. He absolutely loves using it, and it’s been great seeing how much he enjoys both the design and the improved comfort while playing.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn’t include features like HD Rumble, motion controls, NFC, or a built-in battery, so it only works while attached to the console. If those features aren’t important to you, this is an excellent controller that’s comfortable, responsive, and well worth the purchase.
