Absolutely love it for my SuperStrike! – I got this because as much as I love wireless mice, I tend to always forget to put them on the charger before I go to bed.
This has a heavy price tag for what it is, as this time around the PowerPlay is just a charging mat. Before it used to replace your mouse dongle.
That being said, this still works great; to be honest I kind of love that its just a charger this time around. I think this makes the product less complicated and less points of failure. This also means its another device you dont have to manage in G-Hub (which I really hope Logitech can overhaul again soon).
I don’t even have this plugged into my PC, I have it plugged into a 15w usb charger. I love that I don’t have to have it plugged in to the PC.
This will keep the mouse charged to around 80-85% constantly to help preserve battery health. Don’t go running to return it if you notice that its never completely topping off your mouse!
I use this with my SuperStrike (AMAZING MOUSE!), and its a dream. It’s cloth and I prefer that for my mice, I tend to like control more than speed. Though its not the slowest mouse pad out there, but that could be a reason someone might not like it.
The cloth can be removed easily for cleaning and maybe you could put your own mouse pad on it. I have not tried this, but maybe something to try in the future if you dont like the plain black fabric pad.

Overpriced mousepad – Does its main job which is to charge your mouse without needing to have your mouse wired. Is it the best mousepad? Heck no. Only go for these if you don’t want to charge your mouse with a wire.

Does what it says it does. – I bought this for my superstrike x2 because I didn’t want to have to use the mouse plugged in. I have it plugged into an outlet on my desk instead of my pc and it does the job. I never had the first iteration of this so I can’t compare but this one keeps my mouse charged and all is well.
I have mine under a deskmat so I can’t comment on the surface quality etc.
It’s pretty expensive but there are no deadspots that I can tell and it works seamlessly for my application.

Disappointment and feel cheated! – As a self-proclaimed “hardcore” Logitech household, my family of four owns just about everything they make: mice, keyboards, headsets, and cameras. I used the original PowerPlay mat for years, loving it so much that I bought four replacement pads over its lifespan. When my last pad finally wore out, I contacted Logitech to buy more, only to find out the original was discontinued for the PowerPlay 2.Despite reading unimpressive reviews, my long-standing brand loyalty drove me to purchase the PowerPlay 2 at Best Buy. Unfortunately, the negative reviews didn’t go far enough. This device is horrible. Logitech has stripped out the features that made the first generation amazing—like the integrated wireless receiver and the detachable cable—leaving behind a flimsy, cheap-feeling product. Charging a premium price for something this cheaply made completely shattered my brand loyalty. I am incredibly relieved I only bought one instead of equipping my entire family. Save your money!

It’s Okay – The mousepad feels nice and works fine with the powerplay. It feels a bit difficult to integrate into my desk setup though, its sort of too small and also in the way.

Surprised! – I purchased the Powerplay 2 to use with my super light pro x 2c, along with a Asus Moonestone XL glass pad, and surprisingly works great! I had anticipated it being sensitive to the thickness of the glass pad but along as I’m over the powerplay itself, it’s charging no problem. I had to pad out the right and bottom edge with an old cloth pad I had so the glass pad would sit level, but other then that it’s been plug and play, does its job keeps one less thing off my mind. Would certainly recommend!

Great addition to my gaming setup – The POWERPLAY 2 has been a really nice upgrade to my setup. Do Not Purchase – Bought these few months back. I was excited to upgrade my previous mouse and mouse pad from my Razer branded products, however these mouse pad gave out. I’ve in plugged and plugged the product into several outlets and it does not charge my mouse nor does it power on via the white light. Don’t waste your money on a product that can literally go out within months. I wish I still had my old razer mouse pad. This one just sits on my desk useless.

Great Investment, no more having to reconnect – Great product and definitely worth the investment! I love not having to worry about charging my wireless mouse anymore. The POWERPLAY 2 keeps it charged while I use it, which is incredibly convenient.
My only complaint is the cloth surface. I wish it were a little smoother, as the mouse feels slightly slower compared to a regular mouse pad. Other than that, I’m extremely happy with my purchase!
