Beta impressed me and the full game was worth it. – I’ve put 20 hours in so far. Frustrating at first, but once I figured out the mechanics it was hard for me to put down today. The combat just feels right and I love the different ways you can play with the shells, stones and others. I’m having a lot of fun upgrading weapons, leveling up and collecting everything I can. I have never played a “souls-like” so I can’t compare it to those. When I saw the reveal trailer last year I kept my eye on it and glad I made the purchase. The Revered Edition came with a steelbook and art book which is not pictured.

A Great Soulslike – Mortal Shell 2 is way better than the first one. Better stabbing, more chonking. You can parry everyone if you’ve got what it takes.
There’s so much to explore it’s hurting my brain but many think this is a good thing.
Highly recommend.

Mortal Sheel II : The “Truly” Revered Edition – If you haven’t played Mortal Shell II on XSX or PS5, I suggest you play it now! Even though I have the game on XSX, I prefer using the Xbox controller over the DualSense. And after seeing that the Revered Edition was only available for PS5, I HAD to get it. And I was not disappointed! The steelbook is GORGEOUS, as is the Art Book (I hope to see an even more comprehensive, larger-format art book soon); the fine art prints are all beautiful and frameable. And of course, all the DLCs are unique and great to have. The game itself is challenging, a soulslike, but with an even grittier and grungier look to the world and its characters. An easy recommendation to anyone who loves Dark Souls, Elden Ring, and the like.
