Broke after 5 months of use. – After 5 months of use the printer broke and CFS cannot be used a it thinks s filament is loaded where there is no filament in the printer. Customer service is terriblev at responding to the messages, they sent a replacement extruder which did not solve the problem. They said they can’t accept a return and replace with a new printer because it was bought from a 3rd party not their online shop even is still under warranty until November 2026. If you buy this printer from Best Buy you’re stuck with no way of returning the unit for warranty in the event of a problem and you will be sent parts with the expectation that you will install them as if you’re their service technician. I am a BestBuy Total member but BestBuy also does not provide the coverage because it was bought from a seller not directly from Best Buy. Now I am stuck with a printer that neither the manufacturer nor Best Buy honors their promises. Go buy something else and don’t deal with this company and their terrible customer service.

Creality K2 Review: 0/5 Stars – I wanted to love the K2. On paper, it checks all the boxes. In reality, it has been one of the most frustrating pieces of technology I’ve purchased.
For context, I’m not new to 3D printing or CAD design. I have extensive CAD experience and expected a learning curve, but not a constant battle. The software feels clunky, unintuitive, and nowhere near the polished experience that many modern printers offer.
The biggest issue has been reliability. Print failures have been common, even after careful setup and troubleshooting. My most recent print didn’t print at all. Instead, filament accumulated around the print head and created a mess that required disassembly and cleanup. That’s not just inconvenient. It’s unacceptable.
When I reached out to customer service, the experience was equally disappointing. Support provided little meaningful assistance and offered no real solution to the problems I was experiencing.
The entire experience has felt like I purchased a beta product rather than a finished consumer printer. A 3D printer should spend more time printing than troubleshooting. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with the K2.
At this point, I cannot recommend this printer to anyone looking for a reliable, plug and play experience. My rating is 0/5 stars.
I’m moving on and will likely be trying the Bambu Lab P1S next. Hopefully it spends less time creating problems and more time creating prints.

Great starter printer – This printer is goated for a beginner level. Im a bambu user but this is a pretty good printer to start off. The only complaint i have is the poop it produces when multicolor printing.

Perfect for a beginner – I’m very pleased with this purchase. I bought this back in March. It is now July. I’ve gone through at least 20 rolls of filament. I’ve had zero issues use multiple different brands of filament. I’ve printed hundreds of things total print time of the machine is currently over 300 hours other than basic maintenance. I’ve had to do nothing out of the ordinary. Very easy to use app highly recommend. This was my first printer if you get it, you won’t be disappointed.

Good product but has some glitches – CFS is extremely useful but when it has an issue it’s a total pain to fix. If filament breaks inside its almost impossible it remove. Mine also had a faulty filament detector in the print head (common problem on K2) but it was only like $3 for replacement part. Creality probably would have sent to for free if I gave them hours of my time trying to get it but $3 it’s not worth the hassle and back and forth.

Easy Setup – It is really easy to set up and get to your first print although it does come with only one color white and has to be connected to the spool holder I do recommend getting filament with it but other than that it is an amazing product still no problems!
